Pet Birds In Your Home

I have never owned pet birds but I know several people who have and some who currently have pet birds. They love them and especially with parrots talk to them.

Occasionally they will release the birds and let them fly around the room. They will land on their owners arms or hands, and sometimes on their head.

Our son and daughter in law have a cage with pet birds and the thing that I notice is that they sing up a storm. To someone not used to five or six birds singing at once it can be annoying. They have gotten used to the singing and if needed they can throw a blanket over the cage and for some reason the birds will stop singing.
