Millions of healthy, cats and dogs are put to sleep each year because there are too many pets and not enough homes which would like to adopt a pet.

There are a number of individuals working to change that. They are working to provide spay and neuter services at an affordable price. Their goal is reduce and eventually end the killing of innocent dogs and cats by reducing the number of unplanned births.

Anyone who needs these services should be able to locate, in their community a group offering these services at a reasonable rate. Check the yellow pages and search the internet for spay pet services.

If you would like to set up your own spay/neuter service there are groups that will help you do so.

Hopefully affordable spay/neuter services will soon be within the reach of everyone who has a cat or dog.
